October 2012: BBC1 'Countryfile'

The film, in which I visit Adam Henson's Farm to discuss beneficial insects on farmland, touched upon my recent research on the importance of dung beetles to farmers. It was broadcast on Sunday 7th October and is now available to view online by following this link.

November 2011 Channel 4/Animal Planet 'Hippo: Nature's Wild Feast'/'Eating Giants: Hippo'

Entomologist on a 90 minute documentary charting the animals that utilise a hippo carcass in the South Luangwa National Park, Zambia. As part of a group of international scientists, I was the entomologist on a 7-day experiment where we observed the animals that came to a hippo carcass using a suite of remote cameras. All live Q&A broadcasts and further information are available on the website.

The 90 minute documentary, produced by Tigress Productions is available to watch on 4OD.

On-screen entomologist. 'Not In My Nature' followed a group of 'wildlife-haters' as they experience a variety of Welsh wildlife challenges. The team spent a superb, sunny day filming with me, hunting for the wonderful insect life that lives in Pembrokeshire.
