General Recording
I also record every beetle that I see on my travels and make sure I go out recording as much as possible around the county. Of particular interst are species in decline such as the Oil Beetles (Meloidae), ground beetles (Carabidae) indicators of extensive farming and the invasive power of the Harlequin Ladybird.
